WORKING ON SUPERYACHTS
Imagine working on a luxury super yacht travelling around the world and discover locations you were always dreaming about. All of it, earning a high salary plus thousands in cash tips.
The most common jobs in superyachts are deckhands and stewardesses. In fact, they are the easiest positions to jump into for inexperience crew. Management crew onboard a yacht requires training and experience; this includes the captain, first officer, chef engineer, purser and head chef.
Tahiti have a maritime school which offers different courses, however, it can be difficult to get as students are chosen upon selection. Also the courses are in French and STWC 95 courses are spread in a few month depending on availability and programs. The easiest and fastest way is to fly in New Zealand to do the course in one week.
You can do the ENG1 in Tahiti.
